We’re a small family with a big story.
For over 13 years, we proudly owned and operated a rental business on the beautiful island of Maui. In 2023, our lives changed forever when the devastating Lahaina wildfires swept through our hometown, forcing us to leave behind everything we had built.
Determined to stay strong and embrace a new chapter, we hit the road in our RV with our two young children and dog. After 10 unforgettable months of traveling, exploring and searching for a place that felt like home, we found it in the heart of the Smoky Mountains—Wears Valley, Tennessee.
Surrounded by mountains, family and the spirit of adventure, we knew this was where we were meant to put down roots. From that vision, 865 Rides was born—a family-owned, street-legal UTV and side-by-side rental business helping locals and visitors experience the Smoky Mountains in a whole new way.
Conveniently located in Wears Valley near Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Cades Cove, we make it easy to grab a UTV, hit the road and experience the beauty of East Tennessee at your own pace.
